This remix was originally started for the official remix contest run by Dr. Motte’s record label PRAXXIZ. However, for some reasons I honestly had missed the deadline – simple as that but I finished this remix some days ago after I rediscovered this unfinished project on my hard disk.
For this remix I was inspired by Dr. Motte’s statement at the final speech of the Love Parade, 1997 in Berlin, Germany. In fact, during his speech a woman grabbed the microphone and was saying “.. wir verbinden die Kraft der Sonne mit unseren Herzen ..” which literally means “We connect the power of the sun with our hearts”. This phrase lead to the Spanish vocal phrases / cut up’s I created and used for this remix.
